theoretical art: self-mutating mp3s

Idea for art: an mp3 that changes itself with each copy. That is: a computer-generated piece of music that contains a mechanism/algorithm to alter its contents whenever somebody drags it somewhere. No two listeners would end up with the same song..

very interesting. william gibson wrote a short story like this that was delivered on a floppy disk. it deleted itself in sections as it was read and scrolled thru. brian eno used to use a program called, KOAN, to generate musical seeds that could be shared. the music that was heard was generated by the combination of seeds. evolving and not repeating.
